AMP Research invented the PowerStep ™ XL featuring a rugged, bold design, offering a 3 Inch lower stepping surface than the original PowerStep ™. This product makes accessing your lifted truck easier. The same automatic, electric-powered running board that instantly extends when you open your door, and retracts out of sight when the doors close. The rail is constructed of 6063 Marine grade aluminum with an integrated bracket system with precision stainless steel pivot pins for rock-solid stability to support up to 600 pounds. PowerStep ™ XL is maintenance-free with a self-lubricating bushing for all-weather performance and American designed and engineered.

The AMP Research PowerStep XL for Jeep Wrangler JL gives you the step you need, while maintaining ground clearance and adding durable rocker protection. Maintenance free motors and bushings will stand up to weather and automatically lower and raise the steps controlled by the doors. Anti-Pinch technology will sense any obstructions when the step is extending up to 15 inches. That is 3 inches more than the standard step and will also hold up to 600 lbs. each.
